Boston is learning more and more words all the time. She says “dah” for yes. She also says “moy” like Hunter used to for more.
She is also learning to put words together to form sentences. However, instead of just using hte couple words she know, she fills up the sentence with “dee”. For instance; “I want a bottle” sounds like: “dee, dee, dee, dee bottle.” And if she’s telling me something about Hunter, it’s: “dee, dee, dee, dee, dee Hunter.”
She is very sweet at bedtime and once she gets her bottle, she’s ready to be taken down to her bed. She says, “neat-night, mommy” or “neat-night daddy.”
When she wants to do things all by herself she says, “me too”; I think that for “me do.”
Boston has been taking her turn saying prayers and usually repeats (kind of) what we say. However, on night Ryan was helping her, but half way through the prayer after Ryan said “thank you for Mommy”, Boston said “dee, dee, dee Mommy.” Then she took over and went through the rest of the family touching each of our heads as she said: “dee, dee, dee Daddy. Dee, dee, dee, Dee [Mercedez]. Dee, dee, dee Ut-ta [Hunter].” She then finished with “Dee, dee, dee Me [for herself].” Ryan helped her finish the rest of the prayer. It was very cute and endearing!

(In Idaho, visiting the grandparents…)
For dessert we had Dole Whole Fruit Popsicles. Boston had strawberry and was enjoying it immensely, but wanted to tasted Grandma’s lemonade one. She shuttered violently once, then again. After regaining her composure she scrunched up her face and said, “eeeww!” We all laughed and, of course, this only encouraged her.
She took another bite and glancing around the table said, “eeeww” again. This brought on another bout of laughter. Hence forth, after every bite she proceeded to vocalize her mock disgust.
By the time she finished her Popsicle, Grandpa was laughing so hard that tears were welling up in his eyes. She enjoyed the comic spotlight and has turned into quite the little entertainer as of late.

Boston is becoming more talkative every day and more often we understand her. She likes to sing also. She sings “Scooby Do, where are you?” and when we say or sing “What’s new pussy cat?” she follows with the “whoa-o-o-o-o-oh!” It’s very cute.
She calls horses = hee-hees and cats = meows and cows = moos. She loves animals almost as much as Mercedez did/does.
She call her blanket “B” like the other girls do. However, the difference lies in quantity. Like the other two girls, she has her own favorite “B”, but she is also a collector. If there is another “B” to be had, she NEEDS it!
